A Visa Refused Three Times: Nunayon's Harton Street Testimony in London
"Do not lose hope." Those were the words an elder kept repeating to a young traveller who had been turned away at the visa desk again and again. Years later, that traveller stood in the same London parish as the preacher.

According to a report by Celestial Prerogative News, this was the testimony shared by Most Superior Evangelist JD Nunayon at the 79th Founder's Day service of the CCC UK Diocese, held at Harton Street Parish, the diocesan national headquarters, under the Head of Diocese, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Bola Olaleye.

As the report tells it, his first planned trip to the UK was tied to this very parish. His visa application was reportedly refused three times in Ibadan. At the embassy in Lagos came another setback, yet Baba Alao, who helped with the journey, asked that the passport be stamped, and it was. A missed flight, a changed ticket, and an airport welcome by parish members he had never met followed. One of them gave him a large suit against the cold.

He described standing before the same parish decades later as a testimony of God's faithfulness and of the people who built it. He closed by praying for the pioneers of Harton Street and for the UK Diocese.

Over to you:
- Who was the "Baba Alao" in your own journey, the person who told you not to lose hope?
- Has a door closed on you more than once before God opened it? Share your testimony.
