Unity Talks Resume: Talon and Oshoffa Meet in Paris

Big news for Celestians everywhere!

Hopes for a reunited Celestial Church of Christ got a fresh boost this month. On October 15, 2026, His Eminence Rev. Pastor E.M.F. Oshoffa sat down in France with Benin's former President Patrice Talon, who has been helping to bring the different arms of our church back together.

Church leaders from across Europe joined them, and according to a joint statement released afterwards, the two sides agreed to pick up the reunification talks again and work toward lasting peace in the fold. His Eminence also prayed for Mr Talon as he continues this work.

Many of us have prayed for this for years. It's not the finish line yet, but it is a real step forward.

Over to you, Celeland family:
1. What would a united church mean for your parish?
2. What should our leaders focus on first?

Let's keep it prayerful and respectful in the comments.
