CCC Revelation Parish in London Shares Food and Relief With People on the Streets

Faith that reaches the street: that is the picture coming out of London this week. According to a report by Celestial Prerogative News, CCC Revelation Parish in London, under Shepherd Prophet Okelola Ipoola, has been handing out food items and relief materials to people in need on the city's streets. The report describes the outreach as the parish's way of putting the love and compassion taught by Jesus Christ into practice, and says the parish plans to keep it going.

A related story comes from north London. Islington Today, a local news outlet, reported on 19 October that a youth group called Revelation Champions, set up by young people from the Celestial Church of Christ, gives out free grocery parcels once a month in Finsbury Park. Hand-outs are at 3pm on the third Sunday of the month, at the corner of Tollington Park and Stroud Green Road, N4. The next one is on Sunday 15 November, and anyone in need is welcome.

- Parcels hold long-life staples such as rice, pasta, cereal and tinned food
- The group runs on donated food and is asking for unopened, in-date items
- Islington Today says the church behind it is a registered UK charity, Revelation of Hope Parish

Small acts, done faithfully, month after month. That is worth celebrating.
