Women Bible Fellowship Canada Convention 2026: "Flourishing in Christ" in Peterborough

The Women Bible Fellowship of the Celestial Church of Christ held its 2026 Canada National Convention in Peterborough, Ontario, and the theme is worth carrying home: "Flourishing in Christ."

According to an announcement from CCC Worldwide, the week-long gathering ran from Monday, September 21, to Sunday, September 27, 2026. It was hosted by Goshen Cathedral, Ayo Mother Parish, Archdiocese of Canada, under Shepherd-in-Charge A/M/S/E Adekunle Lawal, with the fellowship's Coordinator-General, M/C Prophetess Yetunde Odeyemi, among its leaders.

The theme comes from Colossians 2:7, which calls believers to be rooted and built up in Christ, established in the faith and overflowing with thanksgiving. The report stresses that flourishing is not only about material success. It is about steady faith, godly character, fruitful service and standing firm when life gets heavy.

Women from across the Canadian Celestial family came together for worship, prayer, fellowship and encouragement, and the report highlights how much women contribute to nurturing families, supporting church administration and spreading the Gospel.

Prayer point: Lord, root us deeply in You so that we bear lasting fruit in our homes and churches.

Over to you:
- What does "rooted in Christ" look like in your everyday life?
- How has your parish or fellowship helped you grow stronger in faith?
