Imeko 2026 "Glory to Glory": Convocation Committee Opens Volunteer Call Across 11 Teams

The road to Imeko 2026 is already busy. The Imeko Convocation Committee (ICC) of CCC Worldwide says this December's gathering at the Celestial City, themed "Glory to Glory", needs hands as well as prayers, and it has opened a volunteer call to Celestians in Nigeria and abroad.

According to the committee's announcement on thecccworldwide.net, volunteers are wanted in 11 teams:

- Media
- Welfare
- Protocol and Crowd Control
- Evangelism
- Security
- Medical
- Onibode / Task Force
- Sports
- Works
- Youth
- Diaspora

Doctors, nurses, photographers, builders, youth leaders and anyone with a willing heart are invited to register through the link in the official notice.

The diaspora is being courted too. On Sunday, October 4, ICC executive member VSE Ebenezer, who handles Diaspora Affairs, spoke at the harvest of CCC Mountain of Light Cathedral in Michigan, USA, and asked Celestians overseas to back Imeko spiritually, morally and financially. His message, as reported by CCC Worldwide: Imeko is for all of us, and everyone has a role.

For newer members, a little background: Celestial City, Imeko is the church's Holy City, and Wikipedia notes it became a Christmas pilgrimage destination for thousands of Celestians. A December 2024 update from the Imeko development committee described new roads, drainage and amenities around the city.

Over to you:
- Have you been to Imeko? What moment from the pilgrimage has stayed with you?
- Which team would you volunteer for, and what skill could you bring?
