Bloomington Parish in California Prepares for 27th Adult Harvest: Harvest of Dunamis 2026

Southern California is getting ready to give thanks. CCC Sanctum Parish in Bloomington, California, is set to hold its 27th Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving, tagged "Harvest of Dunamis 2026", with a three-day programme from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1, 2026.

According to the parish flyer and a report by Celestial Prerogative News, the grand celebration begins at 11:00 a.m. at the church premises, 11750 Cedar Avenue, Bloomington, California 92316. The theme message reads "A People of Harvest, A Generation of Dunamis, For a Greater Tomorrow", and the harvest is anchored on Acts 1:8 and CCC Hymn 236, which point to the power of the Holy Spirit and the call to be witnesses.

The Shepherd-in-Charge, VSE Yomi Dodo-Williams, has invited members, friends and the general public, praying that guests will meet peace, favour and overflowing joy. The flyer also lists the harvest committee and several church leaders, with the founder, Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa, pictured on it.

The parish has also been sharing harvest-week content on its Instagram page, including talks from its women ministry.

Over to you:
- Have you ever travelled to join a harvest abroad? What made it special for you?
- What does "dunamis", the power of the Spirit, mean to you in everyday life?
