The road to Imeko 2026 now runs through London. According to a report on thecccworldwide.net, the Imeko Convocation Committee has, for the first time, been formally represented at a joint meeting of the Executive Governing Council and Board of Trustees of the CCC UK Diocese, held at Harton Street Parish, the Diocese's National Headquarters.
The committee's Patron, AVSE Peter Onwodi, spoke on preparations for this year's convocation, themed "Glory to Glory". He underlined its spiritual importance and appealed to UK Diocese leaders and members to back it with prayers, active participation, financial support and other help. He was joined by MC Tutu Olowe, an executive member and Special Adviser, and VSE Ebenezer, the executive member for Diaspora Affairs.
The report calls the engagement a step towards closer ties between the committee and the international dioceses, and towards deeper diaspora involvement in the church's annual gathering. The committee's message is simple: every prayer, contribution and sacrifice counts towards a successful Imeko.
This is community news retold by Celeland, not an official statement.
